Missenden Abbey, set in lovely grounds in Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, offers a very special combination of first-class tutors, a peaceful and beautiful setting, and an excellent programme comprising hundreds of inspiring residential courses and non-residential courses in creative crafts, art, textiles, singing, photography, cultural studies and many other subjects.
We offer numerous weekend courses and Saturday courses as well as Easter and Summer Schools, so there is truly something for everyone, whether you want an introductory day course, an intensive weekend course, or a leisurely week to immerse yourself in your subject.
A residential course is the ideal opportunity to relax, make new friends and learn exciting new skills, all in a beautiful and inspiring setting. Just walking around our lovely 7 acre grounds will help you forget your everyday worries. Our friendly and dedicated team - and most of all our fantastic and talented tutors - aim to ensure that every one of our students has an enjoyable and educational visit - perhaps this explains why so many of our students come back year after year!

For residential students, we have 57 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. But if you live near enough and would prefer not to stay at the Abbey, that's no problem. Non-resident students are always very welcome.
